Durian grows in tropical regions around the world, particularly in the Southeast Asian countries of Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. It is a climacteric seasonal fruit which is mostly available only in certain periods between May and August. It’s nicknamed “the king of fruits”due to the large size and spiky, hard outer shell appearance. Durian has non-edible parts of 70% of mainly from the seeds, rinds, and husks. The smelly, custard-like flesh are vary in flavors, colors, aromas, and textures.
